How Does Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Cleanser Work? With a colorless, tissue-compatible consistency, Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Cleanser delivers a combination of mechanical action to dislodge debris from the wound and antimicrobial properties. A spray strength of 8 to 12 PSI helps with physically removing any foreign substances. The solution contains 0.057% sodium hypochlorite, which targets bacteria found in the wound bed, including drug-resistant strains, such as: • Staphlyococcus aureus • Psuedomonas aeruginosa • Escherichia coli • Proteus mirabilis • Serratia marcescens • Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) • Vancomycin resistant Enterococcus faecalis (VRE) • Acinetobacter baumannii, • Clostridium difficile • Carbapenem Resistant E.coli (CRE) • Candida auris • Candida albicans • Aspergillus niger Uses for Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Cleanser Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Cleanser can be used for up to two years from the date of manufacturing when stored in conditions up to 77F. The product remains stable for up to 14 weeks after opening the bottle. Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Cleanser is suitable for both at-home and professional usage: • At-home: Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Cleanser assists with cleansing abrasions, lacerations, cuts, irritated skin and exit sites through mechanical action. • Professional use: Meeting AHCPR and NPUAP guidelines for wound debridement and irrigation, Anasept® Antimicrobial Skin and Wound Cleanser assists with removing debris, foreign substances and microorganisms from pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, post-surgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, grafts and donor sites.
