ConvaTec Hydrocolloid Sealing Strips are thin, sterile strips consisting of a layer of hydrocolloid contained within an adhesive polymer matrix and an outer layer of polyurethane film. Indicated for use on intact skin as a securement for patients receiving NPWT and can be used to help seal leaks around the periphery of negative pressure dressings. • Absorptive hydrocolloid properties help to maintain NPWT seal in the presence of sweat. • Thin polyurethane film provides a bacterial, viral and showerproof barrier. • Easy to use, mold and can be cut to shape to dress awkward areas.
