Endoform Antimicrobial Restorative Bioscaffold - Fenestrated dressings support the skin’s natural collagen structure and guard against bacterial colonization with a solution utilizing 0.3% ionic silver. The formula won’t result in cell death, provides a wide range of antimicrobial protection and can be worn for up to seven days. Endoform Antimicrobial Restorative Bioscaffold - Fenestrated, formerly (Endoform Antimicrobial Dermal Template - Fenestrated) is available in a range of sizes to suit all wound types: • 1×1” • 2×2” • 4×5” How it Works Endoform® works as an extracellular matrix to address and help the wound progress through all stages of the healing process. Serving as a natural collagen scaffold, this dressing promotes tissue growth in both acute and chronic wounds and helps wounds get through the inflammatory phase, which can limit and stall healing. Endoform® integrates with the skin’s extracellular matrix (ECM), which supports the cells and assists their essential processes. To do this: • Endoform® is composed of 85% collagen and 15% secondary molecules involved in tissue structure, adhesion and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), all components naturally occurring in the body’s tissue. • Endoform® assists with epithelial and fibroblast penetration. Through its biologically natural, lightly processed, porous format, Endoform® helps stabilize, organize, correct and remodel new tissue. Endoform® Antimicrobial builds off this foundation, preventing biofilms and using a formula that’s non-cytotoxic to dermal cells. This combination offers sustained, extended antimicrobial protection for up to seven days — exceeding the three-day average of other silver-impregnated collagen dressings. This combination is less toxic to fibroblasts, lessens infection risks and promotes healing. To Use Endoform® is designed to help heal: • Full and partial thickness wounds • Pressure ulcers • Venous ulcers • Diabetic ulcers • Chronic vascular ulcers • Tunneled and deep wounds • Traumatic wounds, including first- and second-degree burns • Exudating wounds • Surgical wounds, including donor sites and skin grafts To apply Endoform® Antimicrobial: 1. Clean the wound bed 2. Cut the dressing to fit the wound bed. Multiple sheets may be needed. 3. Place the dressing into the wound, and moisten it with a saline solution or exudate. 4. Apply a secondary dressing, including a hydrogel, gauze, compression sleeve or negative pressure wound therapy. 5. Change the secondary dressing and assess tissue quality every 72 hours. Note: Re-apply when Endoform® has been incorporated into the wound bed. Endoform® does not need to be removed during dressing changes.
