ExSept Plus Skin and Exit Site Wound Cleanser

ExSept Plus wound cleanser is used for skin site preparation prior to injection, instrument use or dialysis and for catheter exit site cleaning. ExSept Plus helps to prevent the risk of bacterial contamination and skin infections and is a valuable alternative to iodine for skin site antisepsis. How ExSept Plus Wound Cleanser Works ExSept Plus is an outstanding clinical tool that helps to prevent the risk of bacterial contamination or skin infection. It has excellent, proven antibacterial, virucidal and fungicidal activity and displays high resistance to contamination. Infections occurring at the exit site following dialysis can be fatal. For preparing the skin before injections and for exit site cleaning, ExSept Plus Wound Cleanser uses Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), 0.114%, to: • Decrease contamination risks. • Offer broad-spectrum antibacterial protection, including against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, MRSA and VRE.
