PICO PHMB Gauze Filler

PICO provides the clinical benefits of NPWT in a pocket sized, canister free system that is simple to apply and easy to wear. This ultimately enhances patient satisfaction. PICO is approved for use on acute wounds, chronic wounds and surgical incisions. Our pump delivers 80mmHg (nominal) negative pressure to the wound surface and manages low to moderate levels of exudate, on average evaporating 80% of fluid and locking approximately 20% of fluid inside the dressing. The system includes 2 dressing and 1 pump to provide therapy for up to 7 days. Available in 10 convenient dressing sizes. NPWT requires direct contact with the wound bed. When using PICO for wounds with depth greater than 2cm a wound filler may be required. Appropriate fillers include gauze, foam or Acticoat.
