PORTEX Thermovent T Heat and Moisture Exchangers

Portex HMEs are intended to provide efficient heat and moisture recovery. All HMEs exhibit low resistance to flow and high moisture output which helps to minimize the loss of heat and moisture in ventilated or spontaneously breathing patients. All HMEs and filters have ISO standard tapered ends to assure a consistent leak-free seal. Thermovent T- Heat and Moisture Exchanger can only be used for 24 hours but can be changed out as often as needed. Contamination is easily detected with the clear housing. The simple opening port provides quick and easy access for a suction catheter to eliminate secretions.
