For use as a secondary dressing, Sterilux AMD gauze is formulated with PHMB and benzalkonium chloride and features material with a high yarn count. This combination provides a high degree of absorbency for moderate- to high-exudate wounds and helps prevent bacteria colonies from forming within the dressing.
