Versatel Contact Layer Dressing

Versatel is a contact layer that allows exudate to pass through to a secondary dressing while preventing the dressing from adhering to the wound bed and creating additional trauma. This solution is designed to be used in conjunction with OptiLock®, Qwick® and Maxorb® II secondary dressings. How it Works Research has shown that a high-exudating wound generates 10mL of fluid on average per day. As a silicone-based atraumatic adhesive contact layer, Versatel is permeable enough to allow 16.2mL of fluid to pass through every 2.5 hours, capable of handling over 155mL of exudate per day.
